Diane Malenfant has been a Business Advisor with the WindsorEssex Small Business Centre for 8 years where Diane has worked with many business owners in all stages of business development. It was here she learned of the many challenges facing business owners, particularly in relation to the promotion of themselves and their businesses. In her current role as the General Manager at the Business Resource Centre of Essex County, she continues to support local entrepreneurs in achieving their goals. Entrepreneurs now “pitch” their business ideas to her and her team in hopes of securing financing that will help them start or grow their business.
Diane’s hobby since 2011 has been Toastmasters, a club that helps individuals to strengthen their leadership and public speaking skills. She’s held various leadership roles in Toastmasters and she was a founding member of the Leamington club chartered in 2018. It is through her combined love and appreciation of both entrepreneurs and Toastmasters that Diane presents her session, “Practice Your Pitch”.
We hope you can join us on Tuesday, October 15th. Networking starts at 5:30 PM.
