Francine Leclair Honey is a Franco-Ontarian singer-songwriter whose stories sing out from the heart. After years of designing and managing web applications for the Canadian Federal government in Ottawa, Francine quit her job in 2013 and began finishing the songs that had been marked "finish later" throughout the years. Look for her third studio album entitled “To Be Continued” in 2018.
With a mix of Folk, Rock, Country and Blues, Honey has showcased in 2016 and 2017 at the Canadian Showcase artist for the Texas Songwriters Symposium; 2016 Winterfolk Blues and Roots Festival; 2016 & 2017 Kingsville Folk Music Festival and 2016 Folk Music Ontario conference. She founded the Leamington Regional Writers Group and leads songwriting workshops. Francine’s songwriting has taken her to Switzerland, the UK, Texas and Nashville. With a dream of having her songs sung by other artists, Leclair Honey travels to Nashville regularly and focuses on writing and recording. She performs solo or as a duo. You will be moved as you listen to this rhythmic storyteller.
