Meet Dawn Mackinnon

After a Business Development and HR professional career, Dawn MacKinnon moved to Kingsville with her husband in May 2017 to renovate an old house and open it as a Bed and Breakfast. Kingsville House Bed & Breakfast is situated on Division Street North and has been a great success from the start.
Dawn thought a gift shop would be an ideal addition to the Bed and Breakfast and wanted to do something unique from what is currently available in Kingsville. After many months searching for retail space, with no success, Dawn approached Annabelle’s and talked to the owners about what she was looking to do. Annabelle’s had a gift shop in the past and had been replaced with additional lunch tables. Annabelle’s agreed to rent the area on the main floor to Dawn for the new gift shop – D’s Fabulous Finds.
Dawn spends many hours selecting different well priced unique gifts such as ladies’ separates and accessories, children’s gifts, home décor and books. There is something for all budgets from $2 to $200. Stock is always changing and selections from D’s Fabulous Finds are sometimes only one of a kind. Personal shopping assistance, wrapping and delivery are offered. Dawn looks forward to seeing you in the store and is happy to bring the store to you, when you need that special service.
